The Ladies' Atelier

Grace,
measured.

الأناقة على مقاسك

Two disciplines under one roof — the abaya and the modest dress. Each garment is drafted on your own pattern, cut by a single tailor from first thread to final press, and finished by hand in our Mogadishu atelier.

Look 001 — Black silk abaya, gold cuff zari

Drafted On You

Every abaya and dress begins as a personal paper block — not a size chart.

Hand-Basted Fitting

A test-fit garment is stitched before a single seam is closed.

Zari & Zardozi

Gold and pearl embroidery applied by our resident hand-embroidery master.

Modesty As Discipline

Line, drape and length considered together — never one in isolation.

Chapter I

Abayas

Classical Islamic dress — cut to the Emirati benchmark.

العباية · وقار وأناقة

The abaya is the quietest and most confident garment a woman can own. Our house pattern begins with the Emirati discipline — the pure line, the weightless drape, the almost invisible seam — and extends into open, kimono, butterfly, closed and bridal silhouettes. Every abaya is drafted on your own paper block; nothing is pulled from a rack.

Hijabi Dresses

Modern modest tailoring — drafted on your own pattern.

أناقة الحجاب · مقاسك الخاص

A hijabi dress is a question of proportion. High neckline, generous sleeve, considered length — then everything else is yours. We build them in Italian wool for the office, silk for the evening, linen for the road. Each one is drafted on your personal block and paired with a matching hijab in the same house palette.

The Anatomy of Grace

A garment stitched by one pair of hands.

From the first pencil mark on the paper block to the final press on the walima abaya, a single tailor is assigned to your piece. She measures. She drafts. She bastes. She fits. She finishes. Nothing passes through a production line — because a production line cannot make a garment feel like yours.

  • Personal paper block, kept on file for future orders
  • Hand-basted toile before the first seam is closed
  • Two to three fittings — matinee, dress and press
  • Hand-set zari, zardozi and pearl embroidery
  • Matching hijab in the same house-dyed palette
